I can't think of a better person to be our next state senator than Dawn Euer. I have had the great pleasure of working with Dawn as co-project managers for the Newport Open Space Plan. I've seen Dawn in action and can attest to the fact that she is an effective leader who has the ability to engage those whose voices are not always heard and encourage folks to speak up for their families and neighborhoods. Like me, Dawn knows that when we have everyone at the table as part of the conversation, we make better decisions for everyone in our community.
Dawn's experience in the not-for-profit sector with groups like Bike Newport, the Newport Open Space Plan, Alliance for a Livable Newport and so many more showcase her collaborative spirit and team-oriented advocacy for underrepresented minority and environmental groups. In these uncertain political times, it's so important that we have a leader who will do just that.
We need Dawn in the state Senate to speak out against injustice and inequity and to fight for the issues that affect our health, safety and environment. I am proudly voting for Dawn Euer on July 18 and I hope you will join me.
